Whilst it is true that personal commitment and effort are required for success in learning Xhosa, the user-friendliness of African Voices' Xhosa coursebook and CD enabled us to undertake the task without feeling intimidated. Furthermore, Tessa is an outstanding teacher, and we have been inspired and motivated by her encouragement and support. We have benefited from the discipline imposed by regular tests and orals, but have appreciated Tessa's flexibility when revision of work already covered has been needed. All in all, the course has been not only extremely worthwhile, but also a fun experience, and a solid foundation has been laid in our quest to become fluent and confident speakers of the beautiful Xhosa language.

This course has been of great benefit to the Laboratory personnel who attended this course. On behalf of the personnel, Thank You, African Voices, for running such an efficient and effective Xhosa course. Indeed, money well spent.
